Illinois Masonic Outreach Services Scholarship Program
The IMOS Scholarship is given annually in the amount of up to $3000 (with the amount subject to the availability of funds in the Endowment Fund) to Illinois Master Mason’s, Spouses, Widows, and Orphans for assistance in pursuing academic or trade school education.
Be a Master Mason in good standing, Spouse, Widow, or Orphan.
Persons of any age are encouraged to apply.
Have a minimum 3.0 GPA (“B” average) in the last completed school term (e.g. highschool, college, or trade school). Transcripts must accompany all applications.
Be enrolled, or eligible to enroll, in an accredited College, University, or Trade Schooland submit proof of enrollment in the form of a letter/certificate from the college,university or trade school.
Priority given to those in financial need.
No definitive deadline; applications are reviewed as received on a monthly basis.
Scholarships are renewable with re-application. Awardees are eligible to reapply for the scholarship on an annual basis from the date of prior disbursement. There is no limit on the amount of re-applications made.
